Originally written with a heavier and more straight-rhythm groove by Miles, the song became something new altogether when he brought it to the band - slower, more captivating, more sensual, and more dynamic.

The lyrics are about a partner who satisfies the base cravings of the narrator's mind, but fail to leave much of a mark in other areas. Though the moth is drawn to the flame, the narrator fights their urges and escapes.
