Disappear

Listen to the music
Coursing through your veins
Tap your foot along
You really can't complain
And yet you can't see why
The people smile your name
When all you feel inside
Is just the sadness and shame.
Listen to the music
As you tap your feet,
See the shockwaves echo
Up and down the street,
Of all the actions and words
You said you'd never say,
You had hoped that you could stall
The coming of this day.
And now it's here,
And now it's finally here.
The day you disappear.
Listen to the footsteps
Rushing overhead
The thought of your discovery
Fills your mind with dread
And yet you can't see why
The people soften their tread
Until a banging at the door
Finds you already dead.
And now it's here,
And now it's finally here.
The day you disappear.
And now it's here,
And now it's finally here.
The day you disappear.
And now it's here,
And now it's finally here.
The day you disappear.
The day you disappear (x2)

Prequel

He’ll never have his day in court
For the thoughts up in his head.
But if we stood trial for our thoughts
We’d likely all be dead.
Nevertheless, he’ll get it good,
When he reveals, more than he should.
His face will pale, paler than white,
As if his skin, never saw light.
Starlight, star bright, can he tell what is wrong from what’s right?
Four and nineteen blackbirds baked in his pie, it’s a lie.
The scales of justice listing hard to port,
The press of chaos listing his retorts.
The prequel not as poignant
As the tattered trilogy.
No patterns in his past that point to
this monstrosity.
Nevertheless, he’ll get it good,
When he reveals, more than he should.
Dark be his hair, damp from his sweat,
Then from the pools of his regret.
A butcher, a faker, a lie fabricator, the roles rolled into one.
Two mice will scurry, leave in such a hurry, they've lost the third behind, they’re all blind.
His moral compass shifting far from north,
Shifting in his shackles, back and forth,
The prequel can’t predict with certainty,
The consequences of the trilogy.
Nevertheless, he’ll get it good,
When he reveals, more than he should.
His face will pale, paler than white,
As if his skin, never saw light.
Yes, he’ll get it good,
When he reveals, more than he should.
Dark be his hair, damp from his sweat,
Then from the pools of his regret.
Regret for what he did wrong?
Or regret from waiting so long?

Silence
03:04
|

The silence that tries to penetrate your mind,
so you'd forget what it'd be like to have ever heard a sound.
As if you stood in field, snow falling heavy and blind,
the illusion you're the only one around.
It could drive even the strongest of minds to redefine,
The concept and condition of insanity,
crossed with your vanity,
And you can scream and shout,
your ears betraying all doubt,
in your mind that you've uttered or heard a single word.
Silence plagued her conscience like a bad memory,
the kind that she'd try to remove, a wretched old revery.
But it was locked in her head, and as she lay in her bed,
a tortured scream lay trapped inside her throat.
Her eyes bulging wide, the sound so long trapped inside,
her only goal was letting it all out.
It drove even a mind of her kind to redefine,
The concept and condition of insanity,
crossed with her vanity,
And she can scream and shout,
her ears betraying all doubt,
in her mind that she's uttered or heard a single word.
And what a velvet blindfold does to ones eyes,
The silence did to her head.
